Users often refer to it as an interesting cross between Sudoku and Minesweeper. It is also known as "Two Not Touch", under which name it is published in The New York Times, and "Queens", under which a 1-star version of the puzzle is available on LinkedIn. The puzzle is created by Hans Eendebak for the 2003 World Puzzle Championship.
